Mechanic「To the Light – Trust but Verify」タスク解説メモ
I received a request from the lighthouse. The request itself is rather unusual, though. I still don’t understand exactly what he’s planning, but I remembered your interest and decided to involve you in carrying out the task. You wanted to get in touch with Lightkeeper, didn’t you?
He gave me a hard drive containing data that needed some… modifications. The drive now needs to be left at the Lab, in one of the server rooms in the testing area. But there are a couple of important conditions.
First: the drive needs to be disguised so that whoever finds it believes it’s been sitting in the Lab since the evacuation. Setting up a decoy like that will take longer than usual. And if the deception is discovered, we can’t expect any future cooperation from Lightkeeper.
Second: activating the Lab’s internal systems would arouse suspicion from the group that’s supposed to take Lightkeeper’s bait. So you’ll need a quiet way out, such as a ventilation shaft.

彼が何を企んでいるのか、俺にもまだ正確には分からない。だが、お前が興味を持っていたことを思い出して、この仕事に関わってもらうことにした。Lightkeeperと接触したかったんだろう？
彼から、少し……手を加える必要があるデータの入ったハードドライブを渡された。そのドライブをThe Labの試験エリアにあるサーバールームの一つへ置いてくる必要がある。ただし、いくつか重要な条件がある。
まず、そのドライブを見つけた者が、避難時からずっとThe Labに置かれていたものだと思い込むよう偽装する必要がある。このような偽装工作には普段より時間がかかる。そして、もし偽装が見破られれば、今後Lightkeeperから協力を得ることは期待できない。
次に、The Labの内部システムを作動させると、Lightkeeperの罠にかかるはずの連中に怪しまれてしまう。そのため、換気シャフトのような目立たない方法で脱出する必要がある。
- The Labの武器試験エリア付近にあるサーバールームへ「Hard drive with false data」を隠す（1レイド以内）
- 任意：その後、Ventilation Shaftから脱出する
- Ventilation ShaftからThe Labを脱出する（1レイド以内）

「Hard drive with false data」の設置場所
「Hard drive with false data」は、The Labの武器試験エリア付近にあるサーバールームに設置します。
設置には40秒かかるため、付近の安全を確保してから設置しましょう。
The Lab脱出地点「Ventilation Shaft」の場所
脱出地点「Ventilation Shaft」は地下にあります。
バックパックを装備していると利用できない脱出地点なので、このタスクではバックパックを持たずに出撃するのがおすすめです。
